The University of Hohenheim operates this portal to provide you with services from online application to participation in the Alumni Community.

The mandatory fields marked with an asterisk (*) ask for obligatory information without which the Universitiy's services cannot be provided. The data collected in the course of online application and request of enrollment is processed on the basis of Sec. 12 of the State Higher Education Act as well as Secs. 13 and 15 of the State Data Protection Act in conjunction with Sec. 2 of the State Higher Education Act, the University Admission Act, the Higher Education Admissions Ordinance, and the admission regulations of the course of study for which the prospective student is applying.

The input fields not marked as mandatory ask for voluntary information which facilitate the processing. It is not necessary to enter voluntary information, and this does not affect your chances of success in application, registration, grading or similar processes. The specification of a college degree or a title is used for the proper formulation of the form of address. Entering  a telephone number allows the University of Hohenheim to contact you quickly, i.e. in case incomplete information needs to be completed. The University will process your voluntary information based on your consent, which you give by entering information in the data fields. It is possible that this information may be processed further due to legal requirements, i.e. to perform the duties of the University in accordance with the State Higher Education Act.

By entering information in the input fields for voluntary information, you consent to the processing of data collected by the University. Your consent may be revoked at any time.

You have the right to request information about the data stored about you at the University of Hohenheim and to have these data corrected in the case of errors.
